Canadian Human Rights Toolkit
Human Rights Resources for K to 12 Teachers
Explore the Toolkit to discover resources and various approaches to human rights education for your classroom.
The Canadian Human Rights Toolkit is a searchable database of education resources available in both English and French for grades K-12. The Toolkit was created by the Canadian Teachers’ Federation (CTF), in partnership with the Canadian Museum for Human Rights (CMHR).
The Toolkit data has been organized based on needs identified through a 2013 national survey of classroom teachers, also conducted in partnership between the CTF and the CMHR and available at 2013 national survey of classroom teachers. The data has been coordinated, collated and centralized for your convenience.
Please note that the resources in this Toolkit do not belong to either the Canadian Museum for Human Rights or the Canadian Teachers’ Federation and may not represent the views of either organization.
NOTICE
The Canadian Teachers’ Federation is in the process of transferring the Canadian Human Rights Toolkit to the Canadian Museum for Human Rights, for safekeeping, updating and growth. As a result of this transfer, the ’add a resource’ component of the Toolkit is temporarily closed, until such a time as the Museum has finalized the transfer of the Toolkit on its servers.
