PSA for Poverty

GECS Grade 5 students will be making their very own PSA. Our entire class of 28 will walk to the Oromocto & Area Clothing & Food Bank, where they will receive a comprehensive tour of the facility. While on site they will participate with off loading of groceries, the packing of Food boxes, and why there is a need for this service. This visit will serve as the model for our very own 'Geary Changes Food Bank'. Students will play all the roles and we will video this for the purpose of educating and empowering our youth, so they can effect change within their schools, communities , or social circles.
