• DIGITAL CITIZENSHIP and SOCIAL ACTION – deadline to apply is December 11, 2011. $500 and $750 school-community social action project subsidies available.

  Technology and social media:

  • How to use it to engage youth
  • How to use it to mobilize for a cause
  • Put your research into action at the community level
• IMAGINEACTION PROJECT SUBSIDIES – we will accept project applications from November 11 to December 11, 2011. $500 and $750 school-community project subsidies available.
• CANADIAN LITERACY and SOCIAL ACTION – we will launch November 24, 2011. Funding for this initiative is not provided to the school, but we will support classroom teachers with:
  • a set of classroom books from a list of Award Winning Canadian authors, and
  • a conversation with the author, either in person, or by Skype or Webex.
