This five minute TED Ed video is a lesson on human rights created by Benedetta Berti. The video creates a basic definition of human rights and then begins to unravel the complexities of enforcing them. A very brief history of the creation United Nations and Universal Declaration of Human rights (1948) is included. The thirty articles of the UDHR (1948) are shown in simple text. The video acknowledges some of the limitations and biases that exist within the UDHR (1948) and reminds viewers that human rights law is constantly evolving.
