Sam Pudlat Radio

Our school now has a radio station that broadcasts to the small in which we live. So far the students have been going on air for an hour after school. I would like to take what we have going now and reorient the student programming toward a more social action focus. I would hope to have the students do interviews and gather information on their own (with guidance) about things that affect them and issues that they are concerned about. I feel that the students would benefit from some supporting technology (extra microphones, digital recorders…) to facilitate this. For the younger grades it is an opportunity to practice their language skills and hear themselves on air.

The year is coming to an end and it has been wonderful. Thanks you so much for helping our students develop their radio personalities.
