Guest Speaker - Mariatu Kamara
Funds for speaker Mariatu Kamara (Bite of the Mango) (She had her hands cut off by rebels in Sierra Leone and is currently a student in Toronto). Two girls in the Forest of Reading club were very touched by her story - they are heading this project. Our 7 & 8 students, as well as students from other schools in the area would attend. Social justice and poverty are strong links for teaching character education. Fundraising for her charitable organization is also a possibility.
