WRED Jr.

WRED Jr. is a middle school clothing line in the making that stemmed from the JMH World Reality Education organization. We have decided to partner with Embrace Rwanda and we will be donating the proceeds that we earn from our clothing line to their Chickens Against Poverty campaign. We will be selling items of clothing with our WRED Jr. logo printed onto them, then donating the profits to Embrace Rwanda. We believe in giving students a voice and that together, with right time and funding we can make a change and help others in need!

Mise à jour (15 mai 2019)

WRED Jr has dived into social entrepreneurship, creating a clothing brand to raise money for a chicken program in Rwanda. The students have created a logo for their brand, built a clothing cart, presented to other classes, and created a financial team to manage their business. Our students are also heavily involved in promotions through both social media and a website.

WRED Jr. can be followed on Instagram @wredjunior and on our website at https://wredjr.weebly.com/.

Mise à jour (25 juin 2019)

In the past month, WRED Jr. has been involved in a lot of awareness and social entrepreneurship. Our project garnered the attention of District office who invited us to participate in Discover 2019, a Makerfair and Marketplace. We also participated in our school's learning showcase. We are happy to report that we have raised $1000.05 for our charity. WRED Jr. will continue to be an extra-curricular club in our school, with ever-changing goals.
