Caring Cards

We will purchase card making supplies and postage. Students will have the opportunity to create cards and then distribute them to anyone they feel is in need. They can hand deliver them to a neighbor, someone in the hospital, a senior home or a classmate. They also have the option of doing it anonymously. They can mail the cards or leave them someplace where the person will find them. These cards will go to anyone that students feel need a message of care. Someone who is ill, lives alone or has been bullied, excluded, has failed a test, or simply needs a message that someone cares.

Update (March 2, 2018)

We had an all grades workshop on February 14 with a volunteer from the community, Denise Reddecopp. She showed our students some techniques for card making, then we let the students create on their own.
