Cobras Care for each other

As an enrichment project the student wellness committee will create a student friendly guide for reducing bullying. Rather than complete it as a list of Do Not's, the committee will endeavour to create a positive list of student actions to prevent and or deal with bullying. After compiling the list students will create an infographic to succinctly present the information to the student body. Presentation of the message in a positive format should help to create a more positive learning environment at our school.

Mise à jour (12 juin 2018)

Mary and Rachel, two of our Grade 12 students have been busy looking for positive messages for students at our Grades 7-12 school. They have drawn up a couple of lists so the next step is narrowing down the choices and deciding on a format. They have decided to place the messages on the backs of bathroom doors throughout the school.

Mise à jour (18 juin 2018)

Rachel and Mary prepared 7 different positive messages for our project. They then arranged them on the logo and sent them to the printer where the stickers were created. The girls and some helpers then affixed one 8' by 8" sticker to the back of each bathroom stall in our school. Some of the positive messages include:

"Cobras are not mean behind the screen"
"Cobras stand up for each other"
"Cobras know that you will never reach higher ground if you are always pushing others down"
" Cobras know that it is okay to ask for help"
" NSER is a place to grow together, not apart"

Hopefully these positive messages will help to keep improving the positive learning environment at our school.
