Social Justice: Learning and Acting Together
The grade 11/12 Global Issues class along with the Sustainability and Social Justice clubs at St. James Collegiate would like to build connections with a variety of local organizations as part of their research in planning a number of Action Projects (exact themes to be determined). We currently do not have any sort of budget to help us provide small honorariums, purchase supplies for workshops, etc. We will also hold a Social Justice/Human Rights exposition in January where our projects will be presented to the student body as both an awareness and recruitment event of the various organizations.
