Child Poverty Book-Written and illustarted by children

As an Art Educator I believe children's art can be very powerful. A book about poverty from the lived experiences of children written and illustrated by children could be used for both education and advocacy.Taking the raw data and interpreting it into visual art will give the viewer a unique perspective on this issue. There are emotions that can be communicated visually that do not have a written equivalent.
