Water: Us and the World

We will be looking at the amount of water we consume and how we use it each day in our area.

Update (February 17, 2011)

My students really got into this project and discovered how "not so green" they are with their use of water. They also discovered how lucky they are to live in Canada. Along with their group awareness projects we also viewed "Blue Gold" (DVD) and they wanted to do something about Canada's water so they sent a petition to our MP stating they want to keep Canada's water public and not to privatize it.

This was a great opportunity for them to become aware of a resource they take for granted.
