Kiva Action
Students will create a recycling drop off location in the corner of our school parking lot. Community members and parents are encouraged to drop off their cans/bottles. Students collect and arrange pick up of recyclable materials for deposit return. Money earned is deposited into a micro loaning organization for small, global micro loans. As well, recycling "Kiva" bins are placed in every school classroom. The pick schedule is divided among the "Kiva Krew", a group of dedicated student volunteers.
