Leading the Way

LISTEN, I READ
BOOK: AIRBORN
AUTHOR: KENNETH OPPEL

Students will participate in several leadership initiatives within the school and their community. These activities will include but are not limited to their participation in a school based social justice team, recycling team, visitation to local church support groups to serve food and provide clothing to those in need and the promotion of youth leadership opportunities to other students in their school. Through these activities, students will work to promote and encourage youth leadership while creating awareness of various social injustices that individuals of any age can work to rectify and improve. In addition to a video that will document our progress, students will also compile a working time capsule containing strategies and positive messages that will help to further encourage and influence our future youth leaders.
