Bullying and threats; how to deal with it

Students will partner with a local artist, Leigh-Anne Kehler to create a video teaching students about what bullying is and how to recognize threats. Leigh-Anne is a storyteller and professional performer who will use drama and film to help the students plan, shoot and edit the video. The video will be used in the school and the recreational centre to help children understand what to do when they are being bullied or threatened.

Update (December 15, 2011)

The students are having a great time getting used to the different features of iMovie. They've also started on their storyboards.

Update (February 13, 2012)

Randy Guest (Artist in the School) worked with students to develop the story board and film and edit the bullying/threat video. Students have some finishing touches to do, but have really enjoyed working on this project.
