Be Cool- Don't be Cruel- Anti Bullying day

The school leadership team is planning a full day of activities and assemblies entitled: Be Cool-Don't Be Cruel. The focus will be on anti-bullying and creating a school culture of caring, empathy and support. The leadership team wants to create awareness about bullying and help students to stand up to bullying by experiencing a variety of activities. There will be a school wide assembly to kick off the day, featuring inspirational speaker, Spencer West. The school leadership has planned a variety of activities for the students that focus on positive school climate with zero tolerance for bullying. The centers include dance, drama, art, poetry, cooperative games, technology, music and writing.The day will culminate with a whole school dance and choir, performing an original song (written especially for the day) and flash mob.

These are some of the activity centres that the students participated in during Be Cool, Don't Be Cruel day. The Spencer West Keynote was inspirational and an excellent kickoff to the day.
