Dance Committee

Currently our school has a ‘Dance Committee’ this is a group of grade six students that volunteer their time to increase activities at their school. This group takes a leadership position in the school organizing and operating regular dances and movie nights. We also do special events. We just finished putting on a hockey day in Canada event and we will soon be having a community fun fair. We are a small northern community and have to make our own fun.
We would like to expand our current activities to include more activities for the younger students (k-3). This would include bingo for kids, day trips to our local park, and offering locals craft skill building activities.

Update (April 5, 2011)

We did our Fun Fair. It sure was fun. I couldn't believe how well this went.
