Community Feast

The “Community Feast” will be planned and hosted by SCVI’s Aboriginal Student Committee (ASC); the committee members wish to host a feast to bring together their school community. With school administration, the ASC will choose a date to host the Feast, approximately beginning between 5-6pm, and lasting for about an hour to an hour and a half. The ASC will choose a menu that is healthy, hearty, and easy to serve many people; with the help of certain staff, the committee members and other student volunteers will spend the day of the Feast cooking in the Food Lab at SCVI, as well as prepare the cafetorium for the guests. All students and staff at SCVI will be invited to attend, as well as to bring their families. Additionally, the ASC will invite all grade 8 registrants and their families.
