The final line up of sessions for our Wellness Day at Indian River High:

-Building Resilience
-Sexual Health
-Art Therapy
-Healthy Cooking
-Youth Cannabis Use
-Snowmobile/ATV Safety
-Being and LGBTQ Ally
-Healthy Relationships
-Body Image
-Addiction
-Vaping

I was very pleased to have found 15 presenters from all across the province willing to travel here and help us provide the information identified by students as being important to them.

Update (June 28, 2019)

Wellness Day 2019 was a great success. We received LOTS of positive feedback from both students and presenters. The day wasn't over before I had a couple of students ask me when we could do it again. Yikes! It was a whole lot of work but so very worth it when it's all done and you can see the intended positive impacts vocalized by students to us and each other. I also had parents report on some of the important conversations they are now having with their children because of the learning and interactions on Wellness Day.
