Pay it forward

Students in our small northern community will participate in the enrichment program at the school and be involved in the pay it forward cluster. We plan on going to various non profit organizations to volunteer our time such as SPCA, Nursing homes, Food bank, Womens shelters and various other places in need. We are also trying to provide the homeless with mittens, hats and jackets. In the end our students will do a video presentation on their experience and a report

Update (February 18, 2016)

Students will be making care packages for the homeless or people in need. The items will include mitts, hats, small food items and toiletries and we will pass them out.

Update (May 17, 2016)

Students have put together packages for homeless staying in the friendship centre. We bought toiletries for men and women in need and activity packages for children who come to the centre.
We gathered all the supplies and dropped them off to the manager of the hostel, she was so very grateful for the items as they are in desperate need.
