Net 4 Nets
(Canadian Youth Using the Power of the Internet to Prevent Malaria)

Background Info:
Every day the equivalent of seven jumbo jets filled with children die of malaria and is is mostly preventable through the acquisition and use of an inexpensive mosquito bednet.

The goal of this social action project is to have Canadian youth use the power of the Internet raise awareness about the serious health issue of malaria and to help prevent malaria by raising funds to purchase mosquito nets to protect children in Botswana.

One mosquito bednet costs $10 CDN. The mosquito bednets can last many years and protect numerous children, thus saving many lives.
