This teacher’s guide is published by the Canadian Teachers’ Federation (CTF) and is available for download as a PDF. The guide identifies environment, democracy, peace and solidarity as the foundations of responsible citizenship. The content can be integrated with a variety of subject areas. Included in the guide are lesson plans and student handouts. The learning experiences promote awareness of human rights issues and engagement with social action within a local and global context.
