Teacher Resources

This human rights resource kit developed by Equitas is designed for use in non-formal education settings (e.g. summer camps, after-school programs) with children ages 6 to 12 years old. The kit includes reference materials, games and tips for group discussions that aim to promote human rights, non-discrimination and peaceful conflict resolution. The games also encourage awareness of values derived from the Universal Declaration of Human Rights – UDHR (1948): cooperation, respect, fairness, respect for diversity, responsibility and acceptance.
