Teacher Resources

Teaching Tolerance is a project of the Southern Poverty Law Center that focuses on diversity, equity, and justice. The website provides instructional materials, classroom resources, webinars, film kits, articles, and educational frameworks. There is a searchable database that includes lesson plans and activities for use with students in kindergarten to grade 12. The topics include: ability, gender expression, immigration, race and ethnicity, religion, sexual orientation, gender equity, rights, and genocide. Each lesson plan or activity indicates the grade level and subject area.
